Hallo Ihr Lieben! Wie ein paar von euch eventuell schon auf Instagram mitbekommen habt, war ich anfang Mai für zwei Wochen mit 3 Freundinnen auf Bali. In meinem heutigen Post erzähle ich euch von der traumhaften Villa im Osten von Bali (Amed), wo wir eine der zwei Wochen verbracht haben.

Hello guys! I think a few of you noticed on Instagram, that at the beginning of May I was in Bali for two weeks with 3 friends. In todays post, I tell you about the fantastic villa in the East of Bali (Amed), where we spend one of the two weeks.

War das wircklich wahr? War das nicht alles nur ein schöner Traum? Das fragte ich mich tatsächlich, als ich wieder zurück in der Schweiz im Büro sass. Aber zum Glück habe ich diese Bilder geschossen und natürlich meine 3 Freundinnen, mit denen ich die traumhaften Erinnerungen teilen kann. In diesem riesen Infinity-Pool durften wir uns tatsächlich eine Woche lang erfrischen – em apropos erfrischen, also erfrischend war das nicht wircklich, aber immerhin konnte man stundenlang drin verweilen und lesen, ohne das man kalt bekam.

Was it really true at all? Wasn’t it all a beautiful dream? Exactly this question I asked myself, when I was back in Switzerland, sitting in the office. But thankfully I did take all these pictures and of course I have my 3 friends, which I can share these wonderful memories with. In this Infinity-Pool we actually could refresh ourselves one week – apropos refreshing, it was not really refreshing, but at least we could stay for hours reading a book in it, without getting cold.

Auf der wunderbaren Terrasse mit Meersicht sassen wir Abends oft und  tranken ein kaltes Bier/Radler während im Hintergrund das neue Album von Kygo rauf und runter lief. Hach, wie schön kann das Leben doch sein! Wir geniessten echt jede Minute, ach was, jede Sekunde in dieser Villa.

On the wonderful terrace with sea sight we sat at the evenings often and drank a cold beer/radler while in the background we listen to the new album of Kygo. Hach, how nice life can be sometimes! We enjoyed every minute, I say, every second in this villa.

Aufwachen im Paradies.

Waking up in paradise.

Ein paarmal schafften wir es tatsächlich, um 06:00 Uhr morgens aus dem kuscheligen Bett zu kriechen und der Sonne zuzuschauen, wie sie aufging. Der Anblick war einfach traumhaft.

A few times, we actually made it, to crawl out the cozy bed at 06:00 am and to watch the sunrise. The sight was just wonderful.

Was natürlich unser Aufenthalt ebenfalls versüsste, war, dass wir eine eigene Köchin und einen Servierer hatten, welche uns jeden Morgen frisches Frühstück zubereiteten und an den Tisch brachten. Und das Tüpfchen auf dem I war – wir hatten tatsächlich einen Masseur, den wir jederzeit buchen konnten. Mit der Zeit sahen wir das Ganze als – ich würde nicht sagen normal an – aber sicher auch nicht mehr als sehr speziell. Als ich das jedoch zu Hause meiner Familie erzählte, trauten sie ihren Ohren nicht. Tja, und jetzt, als ich diese Zeilen schreibe, und so drüber nachdenke, war das schon echter Luxus, was wir da, in dieser Villa Tengguli hatten.

What our stay also did dulcify was, that we had an own cook and server, which prepared and served us every morning fresh breakfast. The dot of the I was – we effectively had a masseur, which we could book anytime. With the time, we saw the whole thing as – I wouldn’t say normal – but for sure no longer special. But when I told my family at home about it, they couldn’t believe their ears. Well, and now, while I am writting this lines, and thinking about it, it was real luxury, what we had in this fantastic Villa Tengguli.
